A holistic school education

Pinnacle World School, located in Baroh, Kangra, follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. CBSE envisions a robust, vibrant, and holistic school education that aims for excellence in every sphere of human endeavor. The board is dedicated to delivering quality education to foster intellectual, social, and cultural vivacity among its learners.

The teaching methodology at Pinnacle World School places equal emphasis on educational, co-curricular, and extracurricular initiatives, striving to enhance intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and ethical development.

Stages of learning

  1. NURSERY – UKG

    Kindergarten

    Our innovative child-centric approach nurtures concentration, memory, observation, reasoning, judgment and creativity. Continuous informal evaluation, with a biannual report for parents.

  2. CLASSES I – V

    Primary

    Teachers act as facilitators for group discussions, projects, hands-on activities and experimentation, with ‘learning by doing’ over rote-learning.

  3. CLASSES VI – VIII

    Middle

    Project-based learning, excursions and our Science and Mathematics labs build a scientific temper and a comprehensive understanding of subjects.

  4. CLASSES IX – X

    Secondary

    The school is affiliated to CBSE at the Secondary level: students sit the CBSE Class X board examination here.

Nursery · LKG · UKG

Kindergarten

School hours 8:00 am – 11:30 am · 5-day week

We prioritize Kindergarten and Elementary Education at Pinnacle World School, recognizing that these formative years lay the foundation for life. Our innovative child-centric approach enables us to comprehend and nurture a child's abilities in concentration, memory, observation, reasoning, judgment, and creativity.

Classes I – X

Primary & Secondary

School hours 8:00 am – 2:30 pm · 5-day week

The curriculum at Pinnacle World School is designed around teamwork, with teachers serving as facilitators for group discussions, projects, hands-on activities, and experimentation. Our Science and Mathematics labs are dedicated to fostering a scientific temper among students.

We prioritize ‘learning by doing’ over rote-learning, promoting project-based learning, excursions, and student exchange programs for a comprehensive understanding of subjects.

Smart learning

Providing best education is our priority. We are continuously looking out for new technologies and techniques to enhance education system. We have fully equipped smart classes and online learning management system to help our students excel in their studies.

Admission age criteria

Minimum age as on 1st June of the academic session in which admission is sought. Meeting the age criterion is a prerequisite for admission to the class.

Assessment

Kindergarten

A system of “Continuous Informal Evaluation”, which includes class work, theme-based worksheets, and observation sessions. A biannual assessment report comprehensively outlines various aspects of each child's development.

Classes I – X

Student promotions are granted based on the comprehensive evaluation of their performance throughout the academic year in the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (C.C.E.) system, which takes a holistic approach to assessing a student's overall development.
